Poetry as Prayer

Sundays (10:30-11:15 AM) & (Wednesdays 4:30 – 5:15PM) during Lent
Sundays: February 18 & 25; March 3, 10 & 17; Wednesdays: February 21 & 28; March 6, 13, & 20

There are many ways to pray and using poetry is one of them. The Psalms are poetry. There are other parts of scripture that are poetry. There are poems whose words bring a sacred truth to scripture. Join Pastor Doug on Sundays from 10:30-11:15AM or Wednesdays from 4:30-5:15PM during Lent to explore how poetry could be a useful prayer practice for you. There will also be some opportunity to explore writing  poetry and prayers, too.
