Into the Word Bible Study on Wednesdays at noon

Into the Word, Noon (bring a bag lunch … and/or – if it is desired, Pastor Karen will bring a pot of soup and crusty bread– cook’s choice.)

One of the most comforting things when I had questions about God and God’s promises, was learning more about the Gospels. After our daughter died, after our friend from high school died, I was wondering about God’s love and how it worked. It got me to seminary after a time of discernment where I learned about scripture in a way I had never had access to before that. I want to help open the Gospel as we navigate the world. Join me (Pastor Karen) on Wednesdays in Lent to begin. You can commit to the whole series…or come to the ones that work for your schedule and interests:

Wednesday, Feb 21          Intro to the Gospels
Wednesday, Feb. 28          Healing in the Gospels
Wednesday, March 6         Faith Practices in the Gospels
Wednesday, March 13       The Trinity and the Gospels
Wednesday, March 20       The Passion story and the Gospels

For planning, please let us know you are coming by signing up. You can sign up in two ways: 1.) emailing peace@explorepeace.org and signing up for the series—-or the ones you choose to attend; and/or 2). Signing up on the clipboard that is available at worship on Sundays + Wednesdays or through calling the church office at 608.849.7322.  Friends are welcome. Bringing a partner to do this with is encouraged.
