Gallery Exhibit Opening for Mark Weller, lens-based artist

Come join us for a festive evening to meet the artist, view his work, enjoy jazz musicians Roxy and Alan, and enjoy our charcuterie table and mocktail bar.

Inspired by over 30 years of observing Waunakee’s skies, the exhibition captures dramatic cloud formations shaped by the area’s unique location along the 43rd parallel. Using a technique called timestacking, artist Mark Weller layers hundreds of exposures into single images, revealing motion, emotion, and the passage of time across familiar local landscapes.

Wisconsin-born artist Mark Weller is internationally recognized for his innovative, lens-based work that expands the boundaries of photography. His art has been exhibited in more than 200 museums and galleries worldwide.
