Breakfast Club (EXPLORE.8910 aka 8th, 9th, and 10th graders)

Here is the schedule and topics. Each week we will meet at 10:30AM to 11:30AM. Each topic will include different approaches to covering material including art, guest panels for discussion, interactive conversations with guests, service aspects, etc.:

Feb. 8 – Topic: Baptism, Why it Matters, What it Does

Feb. 15 – Topic: Holy Communion: Why it Matters, What it Does

Feb. 22 – Topic: Affirmation of Baptism: Why it Matters, What it Does

March 1 – Topic: Prayer + Lord’s Prayer: Why it Matters, What it Does

March 8 – Topic: The Bible: Why it Matters, What it Does

March 15 – Topic: The Apostle’s Creed: What it is, Why it Matters, How it Impacts us

March 22 – Spring break weekend 1: No Class

March 29 – Spring break weekend 2: No Class

April 5  – Easter: No Class

April 12 – Pastor Karen at a Retreat: No Class

April 19 – Prep for Affirmation of Baptism Worship Part 1 (Prep includes all 8-10 graders)

April 26 – Prep for Affirmation of Baptism Worship Part 2 (Prep includes all 8-10 graders)

May 3 – Affirmation of Baptism (Rite of Confirmation) for 10th grade students at 9:00 AM +                                        Support Roles for Affirm. of Baptism Service by 8th and 9th graders at 9:00 AM
