♻️ Single-Use Plastic Recycling Initiative

We’re excited to announce our year-long Plastic Recycling Challenge officially began on August 1, 2025.

Why We’re Doing This:

• Primary Goal: Keep single-use plastics out of landfills.
• Bonus Goal: If we collect 1,000 pounds of approved plastics within 12 months, our church will earn a beautiful Trex bench made from recycled materials!

What You Can Do Now:

• Keep recycling! Please place your acceptable plastics in the white bin located in the hall across from the nursery. We’ll be collecting and weighing regularly and provide updates in the Weekend Focus.
• Paper Bag Donations: You can drop off paper bags in the same white bin or take them directly to the Waunakee Food Pantry. These bags help the Pantry reduce costs — thank you for your ongoing support!

Together, we can make a real impact — both in our community and for the planet.
