Peace members and their friends and family along with many of our musical groups\, sign up to sing\, dance\, play an instrument\, perform a skit or share whatever creative ‘talents’ they may have. \nSilent Auction:  Following the Variety Show each year\, the Silent Auction at Peace is a don’t miss! Baskets and items are donated by Peace families and local businesses as a way to raise money for Peace ministries and a designated outreach.   Baskets and items small and large\, ranging in value from $5 to $500 are on display and ready for bidding in the Gallery.  There is also “Kids Only” section for children to purchase tickets for a chance to win one of the ‘kiddos-only’ items. \nTo date\, the Variety Show and Silent Auction have raised over $96\,000 to support Peace ministries and outreach. \nCome along. Using a technique called timestacking\, artist Mark Weller layers hundreds of exposures into single images\, revealing motion\, emotion\, and the passage of time across familiar local landscapes. \nAbout the Artist:Wisconsin-born artist Mark Weller is internationally recognized for his innovative\, lens-based work that expands the boundaries of photography. His art has been exhibited in more than 200 museums and galleries worldwide.

Bring your family and/or friends\, your picnic or carryout bag or plan to visit the food carts that arrive at 5:30pm. The music begins at 6:00pm and goes until 8:00pm. It is a free event for families. Bring your blanket\, your lawn chairs\, your sunscreen and bug spray and join these Peace Family Nights to listen to music\, meet new folks\, and let the children play. \nWe will gather on Tuesday\, June 25 (music by Mackenzie Moore\, Classic and Alternative Rock) and Tuesday\, July 23 (music by No Name String Band\, Appalachian Americana). \nLook for the little canopy shelter with the “Gather with Peace” sign at Village Park\, 410 E.
